Summertime, Sydney

Surry hills, Australia
One of my favourite things in Sydney during summer besides the sun, iced coffee, iced mocha and beach is the fashion- very laid back. A simple stroll around Surry hills brings you an abundance of both simple and crazy ensembles enough to please and strain your eyes. This is just one of the examples. I was taken but this guy's polka-dotted white shirt and teal chinos. BUT IT WORKED. And when you put him next to his friend, sporting a simple package, it works like an orchestra :)

I hope everyone is having a lovely holiday! What a year it has been. Looking forward to more of these visions in 2012 !! Bring it on!

Craig Bambino, Newtown

I was asked to perform a minuscule wardrobe transformation for this bad ass. The first thing I had in mind was put him in thread I like to see my men in and chinos were the best thing I could think of. A visit to our friend Ange at Maple in Newtown delivered wholeheartedly. I shall post other combination we thought of at a later date, but this was a more than respectable attempt at making Craig look like Dr Denim!

Black/Brown Smart Cash, Eveliegh

All Black, Chippendale

For some, black becomes the safest option to wear. For others, it can be rather dull. But for most, it is what they are most comfortable in. Black. As soon as it entered the world of fashion, it continued to exist and live within our wardrobes. A sexy black tight skirt may have dominated this look, but I think the cleverly draped Pashmina completed the modernity, complicated and semi formal approach. What say you?
