That when someone behaves in a particular way that is dissonant to what you believe and would otherwise, we get taken aback?
Perhaps its that hope that humanity's imperfections can be redeemed by their merits. And when we see these inadequacies, we simply can't accept it. But hear this. There are those more childish, less wise and completely brutal. There are also people that will sweep you off your feet with their charm and energy. These are just one of those things that we will have no control of. Not the 'meeting' at least, but the 'keeping', which of them to keep and trust. That's all on you.
